SAFe Capability Manager Product Owner/Product Manager

Job Summary
The Program Manager (SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager) is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of multiple projects within a program using the SAFe framework. They act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and priorities.

• Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage cross functional teams to deliver projects within the program scope, schedule, and budget.
  2. Serve as a product owner/product manager in the safe environment, representing the voice of the customer and defining product features.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize backlog items, plan releases, and ensure timely delivery of features.
  4. Facilitate program level ceremonies such as pi planning, scrum of scrums, and inspect and adapt workshops.
  5. Monitor and report on program progress, risks, and dependencies to senior management and stakeholders.
  6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the program and contribute to the overall agile transformation of the organization.
  
  Skill Requirements
  1. Strong understanding of the safe framework and agile methodologies.
  2. Experience as a product owner or product manager, with the ability to prioritize and define product features.
  3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  4. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
  5. Ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  6. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex program challenges.
  7. Safe certification such as safe po/pm, safe spc, or equivalent is preferred.
